The Call to Unity

Think of all the earthly treasures that get magnified in our culture: health, wealth, power, influence – all things that are here today, and so easily gone tomorrow. If we were to take a poll of average Americans and asked the participants to rank the things they value most, it would be interesting to see where Unity would fall on the list. Given how we seem to thrive on division in this country, a fairly low rank would be a safe guess. A quick search of Scripture, however, reveals the exact opposite. Our God desires for His children to be unified in Him and for that unity to not only impact the Body of Christ, but also the culture at large.
